2 Chainz was born and bread in College Park Georgia, a small hood right next door to the city of Atlanta. He was first known as "Tity Boi" one-half of the dynamic duo Playaz Circle. The Playaz Circle shocked the world with their smash hit "Duffle Bag Boy" which featured Lil Wayne. After many years of paying dues, on the underground circuit, Tity Boi decided to launch his solo career thus "2 Chainz" was born. His solo album "Based on a T.R.U Story" is regarded as a southern classic, and has earned him numerous awards & nominations.
